Kelsey Leland, M.S.
Founder of Pretty Healthy Foods

Kelsey Leland is a natural foods chef and holistic nutritionist. Growing up in rural Northern California in a family of farmers, Kelsey has always felt a deep connection to where food comes from, and this connection grew naturally into a passion for cooking.

In 2011, she moved to New York to attend the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, followed by Bridgeport University’s Human Nutrition master’s program. Since culinary school, Kelsey has been fortunate to cook for a diverse range of clients in New York, Los Angeles and abroad. She is thrilled that her business has now expanded to include likeminded chefs throughout Los Angeles.

In addition to cooking, Kelsey has a passion for nutrition and wellness—for individual clients through her coaching work, and for the community through education. An avid Yogi, traveler and barre enthusiast, Kelsey is constantly learning and experiencing new joys of healthy living. She lives in Los Angeles with her rescue dogs, Roo and Toast, who have no dietary restrictions.

Our Chefs

Pretty Healthy Foods is a team of expert nutritional chefs based throughout Los Angeles and New York. A nutritional chef is someone who not only makes delicious food, but ensures it contains the very best ingredients for each client’s health. Each PHF chef has completed an accredited culinary program, up-to-date nutrition training, and a minimum of 2 years’ private cheffing experience.

Our Clients

Every PHF client cares about health--that’s the common thread. In addition, many of them have chronic conditions including food sensitivities, autoimmune conditions, weight loss goals, or medical diagnoses like cancer, heart disease or diabetes. It’s our job to create custom menus that satisfy their unique needs, while delivering the utmost in flavor and variety.

We believe that great food and nutrition has the power to change lives, and we see it happen daily with our clients.
